The Lab-on-Fiber is selected for the MedTech Exchange Accelerator program of EIT Health for Brazilian market. In close cooperation with Medical Valley e.V. Germany, Lab-on-Fiber was elected for EIT Health Go Global program 2018. In the frame of the program, LoF will participate to the Hospitalar Exhibition 2018 which is the most effective platform for business generation and technological growth in the healthcare industry in South America.

Lab-on-Fiber settles to her new site in TGZ / Halle which is composed of additional 3 laboratories and a clean room. The TGZ of Weinberg Campus Technology Park is the innovation hub for the healthcare industry and life sciences in the region. With 134 hectares, it is the largest in Central Germany. Being a part of this high-tech ecosystem enables us to create new synergies and contribute to innovative community of the TGZ.
Since 1997, the famous Hamburger coffee roaster Albert Darboven donates the Darboven IDEE Award, which is the only national award for innovative business ideas of women entrepreneurs. Dr. Ruzin Ağanoğlu won the second prize among 146 applicants in the 2017 IDEE award worth 10,000 Euros. She received the prize from Prof. Dr. Rolf Eggert, former president of the Deutsche Bundesbank and the chairman of the jury.
In close cooperation with Medical Valley e.V. Germany, Lab-on-Fiber was elected for EIT Health Go Global program 2017. Together with a larger delegation Lab-on-Fiber visited Sao Paulo region and Medical Valley cluster Brazil. Meetings with potential customers and development partners, as well as participation in an exhibition were organized. For Lab-on-Fiber this was a great opportunity to make first new contacts with Brazilian partners.
In a regional competition of the Northern Bavaria, Germany, among 51 companies, Lab-on-Fiber GmbH was ranked second place in the category of ‘best business plan’. The jury honored Lab-on-Fiber for ‘a highly promising and professional business concept’.
