She has contributed in many ways to the recruitment of young scientists in physics, initiated many events for schoolgirls, students, founders, and has participated in numerous others. Her international survey on the situation of living and working conditions during the pandemic provided multidisciplinary insights into the impact of the lockdown on workers and especially female workers with young children.”

Lab-on-Fiber publishes its third patent with international approach. The patent is published with the number DE102017111708 and WO/2018/219391. This one covers the measurement and active control of laser procedures. LoF reaches the new state of art in medical devices for laser procedures. Lab-on-Fiber co-founder Dr. Ruzin Ağanoğlu received ‘Darboven IDEE’ Award
Since 1997, the famous Hamburger coffee roaster Albert Darboven donates the Darboven IDEE Award, which is the only national award for innovative business ideas of women entrepreneurs. Dr. Ruzin Ağanoğlu won the second prize among 146 applicants in the 2017 IDEE award worth 10,000 Euros. She received the prize from Prof. Dr. Rolf Eggert, former president of the Deutsche Bundesbank and the chairman of the jury.
